Cinque Stelle Wind Farm

Information about
the wind farm

Cinque Stelle is FERA’s first wind farm.
Built in Liguria, in the municipality of Stella, which is part of the Giovo Mountain Community and the Beigua Regional Nature Park.

The plant is located in a natural setting and is mainly surrounded by green wooded areas which are populated by pines, holm oaks and chestnut trees.

In 2007, with the municipality of Tocco da Casauria (Pescara), Stella won the PIMBY (Please In My Back Yard) award and in 2009, again thanks to our wind farm, it also won the ‘Io vivo sostenibile’ (I live sustainably) award and the prestigious Klimaenergy Award.

In 2021, Legambiente included Stella’s plant in the ‘Tourist Guide to Wind Farms’.
