the wind farm

Monte Greppino come into production in December 2022, It is made up of six Vestas V136-4.2MW wind turbines, for an installed total of 25.2 MW.

The site is located between the municipalities of Cairo Montenotte, Pontinvrea and Stella, in a wooded area, rich in beech trees, crossed by the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri.

Hikers can enjoy magnificent views of the Gulf of Savona and, on clear days, get a glimpse of the city of Genoa. And for the lucky ones, you might even see a family of fallow deer cross your path!

To date Monte Greppino is the largest wind farm in Liguria.
