Organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in Melbourne, the final event of the 2024 edition of the Italian Business Awards took place on Sunday 12 October: an evening to celebrate Italian excellence during which the most outstanding managers and companies of the Italian and Italian-Australian business community in Victoria and Tasmania are honoured.
The FERA Group, which has been operating in the renewable energy sector in Italy since 2001, has more than 200 MW of installed capacity in 18 plants to its credit and sells electricity generated from wind, biogas and mini-hydro, since 2019 it has also been present in Australia with its first authorised wind farm in the State of Victoria.
The Group won the Sustainability Award, sponsored by Lavazza, which recognises companies that have successfully implemented initiatives that demonstrate leadership and a strong commitment to sustainable business practices, aligning perfectly with Lavazza’s core values.

- Italian Businesswoman Award, sponsored by Webuild, which honours the outstanding achievements of women in business, highlighting their leadership, vision and impact in Italian and Australian markets. Innovation Award, sponsored by Zagame, which recognises innovative breakthroughs and creative solutions that have set new standards in the industry, driving progress and inspiring future innovations.
- Lifetime Achievement Award: a tribute to a person whose dedication and contributions have left an indelible legacy in the Italian-Australian business community;
